Blue Horse Bed & Breakfast

Located in beautiful Placitas, NM, our B&B features comfortable Southwestern rooms with romantic private baths (jet tubs and oversize showers) and cozy fireplaces.  Read, watch TV, play games or just relax by the fireplace in our gathering room.  Or hike around the neighborhood on one of our many trails on the BLM or in the Placitas Open Space.  Breathe in the vastness of the high desert, the depth  of colors in the plants and rocks, the bright blue sky.  Catch a glimpse of the elusive wild horses that still roam the foothills.  Enjoy afternoon snacks in the courtyard while taking in the great views of Sandia Mountain, Mt. Taylor,  Cabezon, the mesas, the Jemez Mountains and breathtaking sunsets that spread across the sky.  Then watch as the clear night sky fills with thousands of stars.  You may even hear a coyote or two.  Dine at one of the many fine restaurants in Bernalillo, Corrales or Albuquerque.

We believe that the "breakfast" in bed and breakfast should be just as special  as your room and surroundings.  Start your day with one of our hearty, tasty entrees and plentiful sides along with freshly brewed coffe and tea. You will be ready for your day of shopping, hiking, exploring.  Our convenient location is minutes from all Albuquerque's attractions, plus Santa Fe is a short drive away.  Other day trips include the historic sites and galleries in the nearby towns, hiking at Tent Rocks and Bandelier Natiional Monument, visiting the old mining towns on the Turquoise Trail, picnicing along Jemez Mountain Trail, visiting Taos and Taos Pueblo, Chaco Canyon or Acoma (Sky City) Pueblo.  We'll help you plan your trips with maps and back road information and even provide a cooler for your picnic lunch.

From the beginning to the end of your stay . . .
